HealthPath™ Security Information
HealthPath™ and PSLnet
The HealthPath™ website + security infrastructure is part of the PSLnet pharmacy supply network. This is a highly secure and reliable network built on proven industry standards and military-grade security.
Technologies used to protect your data The secure connection between your browser and HealthPath™ uses a technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This is a well-respected technology developed by Netscape, Microsoft and RSA Inc that is supported by most browsers.
This technology ensures both the authentication of the HealthPath™ web server and the encryption of any data sent between your browser and HealthPath™.
Every time you logon to HealthPath™, the service sends your browser a piece of information called a "digital certificate". This certificate securely identifies the site you are connecting to, and is used to establish an encrypted session.
You can view the contents of the certificate when you are connected. SSL helps warrant that a third party cannot decipher the communication between you and HealthPath™.
SSL provides an encrypted connection between the two parties for secure message transmission.
All data transmitted between your browser and PSLnet services uses 128 bit encryption.
