Beware of widescreen waffle.

There isn’t a day goes by that the media doesn’t report ‘the latest fad diet’, the ‘diet of the stars’ a beach diet from some remote part of the world. Even closer to home, arguments rage about whether it’s better, or worse, to eat more, or less, animal protein.

Thankfully, we ’ll not confuse you. The meal plans we suggest are tired and true, based on the National Dietary Guidelines. The exercise we recommend is comfortable to do. Nothing extreme.

So what is ‘the right way’ to lose weight? It’s simple really:

It’s all about energy in (what you consume) and energy out (the exercise you do);
It’s about gradual weight loss, not quick fixes, because a quick fix can’t be sustained;
The National Dietary Guidelines suggest weight loss of no more than 0.5 – 1 kg a week – with our HealthPath™ program that is certainly manageable;

We will set small targets that help you stay in control and not under pressure.

For most people, sustaining a weight loss every week simply doesn’t happen. Everyone plateaus, often for a couple of week. Everyone breaks out, just a little and why not, providing your weight is moving in the right direction.

We work with you to get you to where you want to be.

There’s no question that weekly feedback and continued support is critical to motivation, particularly for a tough job like losing weight. That’s why we provide you with weekly support, advice, help and motivation. We will not judge you. In our eyes, no-one is a failure! It if becomes difficult, we will start again, that’s all.
